soulmate

This is not about my soulmate, or someone's soulmate.  This is more about everyone's soulmate.  Do you think finding a soulmate is effortless? I don't think so.

I went to a youth retreat last week and got some tips to find soulmate ;)
(un)fortunately,  the one who we listened to, who gave the talk was not other than, my dad.  I should have get the tips much earlier then! haha.  So, who is our soulmate? Soulmate could be our parents, our girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse, or it could be God.  No doubt, soulmate in love would always be the most interesting topics among all.

Finding soulmate, someone you want to spend your rest of your life with, is tricky.  All of us would try hard to find the best one, (I myself would not refuse if I meet the best one, for sure.)  But could we find him/her?  Where could we search for him?  And the most difficult, How?  Well, in that session, they remind me that, 'It's always easier to adore someone's capability and perfectness, on the other way let's ask ourselves, could we accept, and more than that, live with someone's limitation?'  With selfishness and self oriented thinking,  I feel I am not be able to answer this question yet.  But at least it reminds me not to find someone's perfect, because you just couldn't.

An indonesian movie, testpack, communicates the same thing by saying 'Apa adanya kamu, melengkapi saya..' Sweet.  But hard to practice.  I believe, it is one of our challenge, who actually greedy and selfish.  But I don't say it is impossible. No. Many people have done that.  And let's be optimistic, that we can do it well ourselves.

Another tips is to an equal partner (pasangan sepadan -red).  You can interpret how equal it can be,  at the end it is about building a good communication.  Because we couldn't resist the fact that the more differences we have, more argument would be inevitable to came up.

The tips don't makes it easier, huh?
I'll end this with a video showing how parents could become our soulmate.

Cheers!
